What is Mensa?
Wikipedia's entry is a decent overview...
How Do I Join Mensa?
It's simple: achieve a score on a standardized intelligence test
at or above the 98th percentile. You can submit prior evidence
from nearly 200 tests (like the SAT or Cattell) or take the
Mensa Admissions Test.
We have regularly scheduled testing sessions throughout our 14-county territory. Feel free
to contact our
testing coordinator for more info.
Kids and ECOM
Kids are welcome at most ECOM events (occasionally we'll meet
at an adults-only venue like a pub or something).
We also have regular, kid- and family-friendly activities on
our schedule. Some of our kids recently
toured the very controversial BODY WORLDS 2 -- The Anatomical
Exhibition of Real Human Bodies. Read more about our planned activities
here.

How Do I Contact ECOM?
Mensa is, essentially, a volunteer-run organization. There are a lot of great
people who keep this thing known as East Central Ohio Mensa running. Go
here to find out who they are.
What Can Mensa Do For Me?
ECOM offers free twenty-minute presentations about Mensa to
your group or organization.
For members, we offer a monthly business meeting with a speaker on a
topic of interest, plus on several days of every week informal get togethers
for dinner and conversation. Click our calendar of events
for more information.
We also award the
Karl J. Roden Memorial Scholarship
to a college-bound
student on an annual basis. Applications are accepted September through
mid-January for students attending the following Fall.
